We are looking for a driven and capable Hardware Program Manager to support us with the development of multiple Datacenter projects for one of the top technology clients in the world. This is a client-facing role. You will be responsible for performing more complex aspects of planning and scheduling, including planning, change management, scheduled maintenance, and multi-project resource management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage programs to support quality and sustainability for hardware products

  • Manage the operations side of large scope projects from initial builds through the implementation and serve as a technical lead in resolving complex issues during the bring-up and life of the product

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and others in the development and support of new product introductions

  • Lead Product Development of future devices, including planning and creating schedule and budget, from design to tooling and component fabrication, to prototype and engineering builds

  • Manage end-to-end supplier engagements of critical components from initial supplier selection and SOW creation to delivery of components within schedule and forecast budget

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a robust design that meets product requirements.

  • Generate clarity by identifying and defining issues and constraints, extracting data, establishing facts, drawing conclusions, driving to closure, and ensuring solid root cause understanding

  • Communicate complex issues and trade-offs to development partners and senior management

  • ·Develop and present compelling business cases and implement solutions that improve quality, cost, and customer experience

  • ·Understand key cost drivers and recommend options between competing strategies based on cost/benefit analysis and feasibility
     

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required

    • 10 years minimum experience in Hardware Program Management

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Working knowledge of data analytics tools

    • Experience in client-facing positions.

    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with any audience clearly and accurately

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

  • Preferred

    • Masters’ degree in a related field

    • PMP Certification

    • Server+, or other OEM Hardware Certification (Dell, Cisco, HPE)

  • Position Classification: Salary based full-time regular hours

  • Travel: 25% travel expected
